At Benidorm Nomads, accuracy and trust are essential. Whether you are choosing a café to work from, a gym for a month, or long-term accommodation, you need reliable information that reflects real-world conditions.
This page explains how we check, verify, and maintain the listings and reviews on our platform.

Before a business is added to Benidorm Nomads, it must meet clear criteria:

a. Relevance for digital nomads
We only include places that offer real value for remote workers: stable Wi-Fi, suitable atmosphere, long-stay convenience, or practical everyday services.

b. Data cross-checking
Details such as opening hours, menus, facilities, prices, and addresses are verified using multiple sources including official websites, Google listings, and updated local information.

c. Local familiarity
Many listings are based on first-hand experience or validated through local insight to ensure accuracy and real usability.

Unlike many directories, we do not publish anonymous user reviews that can be easily manipulated.
Instead, reviews and descriptions on Benidorm Nomads follow a controlled, reliable system:

a. Curated evaluations
All text descriptions, summaries, and ratings are written internally based on research, consistency checks, and real-world input.
This allows us to avoid fake reviews and maintain a high level of trust.

b. Verified information from multiple sources
We combine data from Google, official websites, user feedback, and direct communication with businesses when needed.

c. Updates after changes
If a place changes ownership, modifies its menu, increases prices, or updates its facilities, the listing is re-evaluated to ensure accuracy.

We use a structured review cycle to prevent outdated content:

Quarterly Review
Each category (cafes with Wi-Fi, coworking spaces, gyms, etc.) is checked at least every three months.

Fast Updates
If we receive a report from a user or business about a change, we update the listing as soon as possible.

Automated Signals
We monitor signals such as sudden review spikes, closures, or major updates through external platforms to detect when a listing needs re-checking.

We apply consistent criteria depending on the category:

For cafes with Wi-Fi:

For coworking spaces:

For gyms:

For accommodation:

We openly accept requests from local businesses.
If a café, gym, coworking space, or accommodation wants to be added or updated, they can contact us directly:

Email: info@benidormnomads.com

Contact Page: benidormnomads.com/contact

Requests are reviewed individually.
However, inclusion is never guaranteed and depends entirely on whether the business provides real value for digital nomads.

Benidorm Nomads does not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews or rankings.
If in the future we introduce sponsored placements, they will always be clearly labelled and kept separate from organic listings.

Our goal is simple:
To maintain a directory that digital nomads can trust as an accurate, honest, and practical resource for living and working in Benidorm.
