Palacio de Deportes l'Illa de Benidorm

Palacio de Deportes l’Illa de Benidorm is one of the largest public sports facilities serving the Benidorm area. Located on Avenida de Europa, close to the entrance of the city, the complex offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities used by local residents, sports clubs, and visitors throughout the year.

Unlike a conventional commercial gym, l’Illa is a multi-sport complex designed for a variety of activities including fitness training, team sports, classes, and organized events.

WHY IT’S GREAT FOR DIGITAL NOMADS

✔ Large municipal sports complex
✔ Wide range of sports and fitness facilities
✔ More affordable than many private gyms
✔ Convenient location near central Benidorm
✔ Suitable for both casual users and serious athletes

WHAT TO EXPECT

Palacio de Deportes l’Illa provides a much broader sports offering than a standard fitness center. Depending on the available facilities and schedules, visitors can access gym areas, sports courts, fitness activities, and various training programs.

For digital nomads staying in Benidorm for several months, municipal sports facilities like this can be an excellent alternative to tourist-focused gyms. They often attract a more local clientele and provide opportunities to integrate into everyday life in the city.

The complex is particularly useful for people who enjoy combining traditional gym workouts with other sports and recreational activities.
