The Secret Fountain

The Secret Fountain is a rooftop-style terrace bar and casual dining venue inside Marina Resort Benidorm, close to Levante Beach and the main entertainment area around Avenida de Mallorca and Avenida de Cuenca.

Although we’re including it in the cafeteria section, it is considerably more than a conventional café: drinks, food, cocktails and entertainment are central to the concept.

The outdoor setting is the main attraction. Marina Resort describes The Secret Fountain as a terrace combining food and drinks with live singers and resident DJs, particularly during the afternoon and evening. Recent official event listings confirm that live music and DJ sessions continue to form an important part of the venue’s programme.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Secret Fountain works particularly well as a social café/bar rather than a dedicated working café. Food and drinks are served at the venue, with Marina Resort highlighting gourmet-style bites and cocktails alongside its entertainment programme. Rooftop seating, Wi-Fi, table service and outdoor seating are also currently listed among its facilities.

For a digital nomad, the distinction matters. During quieter daytime periods, it could be a pleasant place to have a drink, coffee or something to eat, but once the entertainment begins, the atmosphere becomes much more social. Recent programmes have included solo vocalists, live musicians and DJs from late afternoon onwards.

That actually makes The Secret Fountain useful in a different way from Benidorm’s quieter coffee shops. Someone staying in the city for several weeks can use it as a place to meet friends or other remote workers after finishing work without having to move immediately into Benidorm’s more intense nightlife venues.
