Sapporo Benidorm

Sapporo Benidorm is a large Asian buffet restaurant located in El Planet, between Benidorm and La Nucía. It combines Japanese, Chinese and other Asian dishes in an all-you-can-eat format, but with an important difference from a conventional self-service buffet: dishes are ordered from the menu and prepared before being brought to your table.

Its location outside central Benidorm gives it a different character from the smaller sushi restaurants around Levante and the Old Town.

The restaurant is spacious, offers parking and works particularly well for groups or anyone who wants to try a wide variety of Asian dishes during the same meal.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The buffet is ordered directly from the table. Diners choose dishes from a QR or physical menu, write down the corresponding numbers and give the order to the server. You can then continue ordering during the meal rather than collecting everything from buffet counters.

The restaurant currently allows up to 2 hours and 30 minutes for the buffet experience and asks customers to order gradually to reduce food waste.

The selection is broad. Current menus include sushi combinations and salmon maki alongside dishes such as Peking duck, Japanese noodles, rice noodles, chicken satay, edamame, fried prawns, sweet-and-sour chicken, teppanyaki and various beef, pork and seafood preparations.

For long-stay visitors, Sapporo is particularly useful when you want variety rather than one specific style of Asian food. It is less convenient for someone living car-free in central Benidorm than an Old Town sushi restaurant, but the parking and large dining space make it a good option for groups and leisurely lunches or dinners.
